Hey, I’m Matt 👋

My tech journey really began when I was 10 years old playing around with the family computer, attempting to understand it’s inner workings (and how I could get it to play World of Warcraft with the best performance my parent’s money could buy)

Throughout the years, my connection to technology primarily stuck to personal hobbies; building computers, repairing gaming consoles, gaming however, after trying a few career avenues to fine my feet, I eventually became a junior technician at a local repair centre. This invigorated my interest for tech opportunities in the workplace & set me on my current path

In 2022, I refocused my career on the software side of technology, taking up an internal Helpdesk position, which turned out to be much more than just helpdesk. This role allows the wearing of a few different hats, but my prominent focus is Workplace Technology; maintaining a fleet of MacBooks 💻, managing a range of SAAS platforms & their config ⚙️, as well as developing small-medium scale projects 🧑‍💻

Recently I have taken to running my own personal project to further my skills, all of which I hope to document here, alongside other thoughts and feelings I wish to share
